Effective Factors in Creating Innovation Capabilites:(Case of an Iranian Aviation Industry Research Center)

The technological Innovation Imperativeness and importance of the development of advanced technologies such as aviation industry technologies have made the identifying necessary factors and contexts for creation of innovation capabilities, as a strategic process. In this research, the effective factors in creating and reinforcement of the innovation capabilities has been identified and ranked while the influence of these factors on varieties of achieved innovations in one of the research centers in Iran's aviation industry has been investigated. Finally some solutions to enhance these capabilities are suggested. To do so, primarily through library researches, the effective factors in innovation and innovation capabilities identified and classified into four main groups. In the next step, data were collected by using of designed questionnaire and were analyzed by utilizing of correlation, Friedman and regression tests which indicated that the network cooperation and interactions had the greatest positive effect on innovation capabilities in the research center. In addition, the other factors influences are respectively technological efforts, managerial features and characteristics of human resources. Meanwhile, priority of obtained innovations as results of innovation capabilities respectively determined as product innovation, organizational innovation and process innovation. Moreover, technological efforts identified as the most important factor in creation of product innovation while managerial features believed as the most important factor in organizational and process innovation.
