An Investigation of the Modern World Phenomena in Rahmandust and Keshavarz's Poems

The use of contemporary phenomena in children's poem is as, if not more, important as in poems for adults. This research wants to assess the quality and quantity of applying the words related to these phenomena in the poems of Naser Keshawarz and Mostafa Rahmandoost, two children's poets. To accomplish this aim, the words have been extracted and after that the quality of their use in the poems of the two poets were surveyed. After studying 120 books we find that the frequency of these words in Kashavars poems is more than in those of Rahmandoost. The content of these elements were about Transportation vehicles, Technologyand new sciences, Furniture and household appliances and Food and Meals. In Rahmandoost's poems the component of Technology and new sciences, is the most frequent one and the Furniture and household appliances is predominant in Keshawarz poems. The application of contemporary elements in their works is in two ways: the poet envisages either the actual meaning or the virtual and allegorical content. On the other hand, he either wants to define and clarify these elements, or their application is due to necessity and only to transfer what he had in mind.
