The Comparison of Structural and Optical Properties of (Sn,Ti)O2 Nano Thin Films Coated with Electron Beam and Sol-Gel

Abstract:
TiO2-SnO2 thin films on glass substrate by electron beam and sol-gel methods were coated. In electron beam method vacuum was 10-5 torr but coating in sol-gel method was done in atmosphere. After that all films were annealed. Crystal structure by XRD pattern in method of electron beam in 400˚C and the method of sol-gel in 500˚C were made. Mean nano particle in electron beam method was estimated 20 nm and in sol-gel method was estimated 33 nm. The optical properties and films morphology by UV/Vis/NIR spectrophotometer and SEM were investigated. Transmission spectrum and energy band gap in both of methods were calculated.
