The reasons and aspects for preferring Readings of Qur an in Tabari's interpretation

Mohammad Tabari’s book Ja’me al-Bayan an Ta’vil Ayah al- Qur’an is one of famous Hadith interpretations of Ahlol Sonnah which written in third century. The interpretive method of Tabari in this book is mostly narrative and based on Hadiths of Prophet Mohammad (PUH), Tabe’een and Sahabah’s view. One of important issues that Tabari studied in his interpretation is the issue of Reading of Qur’an (Qera’at). In the way that he in below of verses speaks about different Readings of Qur’an and after examining and criticizing them then introduce the best one. Tabari in this case, is much dominated and capable that not only he seems like a Hafez of Qur’an and proficient narrator in Reading of Qur’an’s science but also he is an exotic scholar and capable critic. He among many Readings and different Hadiths utilized his deep and critic thinking and with various scales such as: Consensus of Qur’an reciter (Qaris) and Qur’an’s researchers or their avoidance about especial Reading of Qur’an, harmony in Reading with frame of verses and other similar points, harmony with famous rules and methods of Arab’s language, harmony with interpretation of Ahle Ta’vil, harmony with calligraphy of Qur’an, textual facility and spiritual congruency of one of Readings and etc. shows correct from incorrect and put them in its especial place.
