The position of Damestani and " Malhama attaf" in the Poetry of Ashura

More lyrics of Damestani, the Bahainian poet is about Ahlul Bayt and especially Hussein(AS). His poems are most about Imam Hussein and events in Karbala, but his most famous verse of the ode is “Malhama attaf” or “Almmarba`a”. in this article first, the position of Damestani among the poets of elegy and the position of the ode among Ashura poems are described. Then the content of lyrics and their themes are explained. the results of this study shows that although Damestani has a great position among Ashura poets and his poem,”malhama attaf” is so important, he is not known as a Shi`a poet. So the moral themes which is analyzed in this article is; lament, affection of Ahlal Bayt, courage and inviting to patience.
