Identifying Areas that Are Outside of Fire Stations Services

Aid uses, including fire stations, according to critical activities that are responsible, in comparison to other city services, are more important. Identify areas where are located outside of the fire stations covered services can help urban planners to site selection of this important land use. The purpose of this paper is detection the areas that are beyond the services coverage of the fire stations in Tabriz metropolis based on the standard time for response time (3 to 4 minutes) has been considered. To achieve this goal, the road network of the city of Tabriz fully studied and the road network database have been completed. and then whit using Network Analysis by GIS software, coverage rates were calculated for each station separately. And then whit analyzing the 19 fire station together, the area of outside covered services has been determined. The result of this analysis in normal traffic conditions that is desired in this study, shows that 40.14 percent of area of Tabriz city from the Based on the standard 3 minutes covered by the city's fire stations, and within 4 minutes reaches to 62.25 percent. Also, the analysis of all fire stations systematically indicates that whole areas of Tabriz during the period of 11 minutes is available for fire station services.
