After occupational accidents occurred and interviews with a random sample of people injured، the 5-year period specified in the plan، also were studied. The sample of 600 employees of three companies (Headquarters، Karun and Marun) was in Ahvaz، which was selected by random sampling. Factor analysis was used to analyze the data. Tools for data collection in this study consisted of a questionnaire to identify the technological and human factors and three tests (tests of Bennett's S and T and F test of Flanagan) to measure the "understanding of the mechanics". The questionnaire included a number of questions to identify demographic variables and records of their involvement in occupational accidents. In addition، the questionnaire contained 137 questions، which includes all the technological and human factors related to occupational accidents، oil industry، oil-rich southern region، which has been prepared based on the opinions of employees in the industry. A statistical method for data analysis، factor analysis، was used. Factor analysis with principal components and varimax orthogonal rotation of the data subjects participating in this study، the three main factors that include technological factors and human factors. A technological platform called "technological shortcomings" has been named. This factor covers 40 items and 25/16% of the variance of variables. The first factor is human "non-optimal implementation processes" is called. These factors include Article 71 and explained variance of 99/21 percent. The second factor is human as "improper administrative procedures" is called. This factor involves Article 16 and Article 96/9 percent of the total variance explained. Also، for each material located on three factors have been identified for the total sample of subjects، the mean، standard deviation، and factor loadings are provided. In the Conclusion of practical suggestions to increase safety measures derived from the results of this study are presented.
