Some Erysiphaceae fungi associated with forest trees and shrubs in Lorestan province, Iran.

Abstract:
In order to study the Erysiphaceae fungi on forest trees and shrubs in Lorestan province، samples of all infected plants were collected and returned to the laboratory for identification. Affected plant species include Acer monspesulanum L.، Daphne mucronata Royle، Crataegus azarolus L.، Salix albaL. and Q. infectoria subsp. Boisieric. Following conformity of the host plants، the character fungi organelles were recorded and the fungi species identified. Based on the results the fungi Phyllactinia gutata (Wallr.) Lev. on Salix albaL. and Crataegus azarolus L. is a new record from Iran. Leveillula taurica (Lev.) Arnaud on D. mucronata Royle is the second report for the world and on Q. infectoria subsp. Boisieri the fungi Erysiphe alphitoides var. alphitoides is a first record on this subspecies in Iran. On Acer monspesulanum L. the fungi Sawadaea tulasnei is a first record from Lorestan province.
