Environmental crime and ways to prevent it in khuzestan province

The aim of this research is to evaluate the environmental offenses in Khuzestan and the methods for dealing with it. The research method is descriptive and it, s descriptive –analytical – measurable in terms of the performance. The data required for this research was collected through the library and field method. For this purpose,a questionnaire containing questions with with fire options was designed and distributed between the employees of Khuzestan, s general department of environment protection as statistical population and ased them to answer the questions carefully within a week.Sample size of this statistical population consisted of people and the method of sampling was in the ful-count form.After collecting the required data,we analyzed them quantitatively and qualitatively and used the soft were spss for the analysis of quantitative data.The results showed that the environmental offenses in Khuzestan province consisted mainly of the environmental offenses against the animals and economical factor is the important factor affecting on the environmental offenses in Khuzestan. Moreover the other results showed that by using the different methods of prevention particularly the situational and development – oriented prevention. We can prevent from the large part of these offenses in Khuzestan.
