The viewpoint of Quran about the risk factors of non-communicable diseases

Quran is afflatus and Prophet Mohammad’s immortal miracle which also includes scientific material. Although Quran does not mention detailed topics from all fields of science; but some scientific material has been mentioned. Quran points indirectly to different topics through, thinking, experiencing, speech and intuition in its verses. Actually this attention of Quran to different science is a reason for practicing them. this was a qualitative content analysis study done by reviewing the verses of Quran. Quran has mention scientific topics in more than 1000 verses and among these verses more than 300 are related to medicine and health. Quran quotes that its main aim is guiding humans to prosperity and fostering a clean spirit, and gaining health; because without health, human cannot gain a clean sprit. In the verses of Quran there is material about the important risk factors of non-communicable disease (alcohol consumption, insufficient physical activity, obesity and inappropriate diet) These risk factors were proven years after the descent of Quran by medical research.Discussion and The materials that have been mentioned in the Quran are miraculous nd astonishing. Science was unable to discover these facts at the time Quran was descended. These aterial show that the teachings of Quran are coordinate with nature and the spiritual and somatic health f humans. Topics against human health can not be found in the Quran.
