View point of students & graduates & faculty member's of Qazvin nursing midwifery faculty about nursing community health curriculum

Abstract:
Background
Nursing has a realistic society dimension. Combination of that with health society can improve quality and quantity of life in psychological and physical fields. Promotion of science and technology in parallel with changing needs of the society required changing in the educational system.
Objective
The most important mission for researcher in health field is to determine the priorities and then evaluating the adjustment of curriculum in various fields with the health priorities and needs of the society
Methods
this study was a descriptive research. The sample included all nursing students, teachers and graduates’ nursing.
Method
assemblage data were interview and questionnaires which made from current curriculums of community health nursing in theory and practice courses. SPSS software was used to analysis the data after completed by samples. The sample sizes were 78 students. 9 teachers and 19 graduate nursing.
Findings
The mean of score in theory courses in tree filed of concept, time and application was 11/31± 4/17, 9/62 ± 4/64, 10/60 ± 4/65.These scores for practice courses were 2/56 ± 1/68, 2/39 ± 1/74, 2/87 ± 1/71.
Conclusion
Based on results teachers and trainers believe that curriculum in parallel with priority of need in society, but students and graduates’ nursing believed curriculums of practice courses required the basic changes.
