Future Research of Organizational Challenges Facing Police Affected by Globalization

Background and the social structures have continually been exposing to constant changes and the planning institutions and governments are trying to adapt themselves with these types of social change and explosive conditions. In this trend of changes in the third millennium, we are confronted with new concepts every day. One of these important concepts is the term “globalization”. In the case of this term, like the other cases, different positions might be taken. Some people may consider that as a transient matter and may not pay much attention to it and some others may take a revolutionary act and convert all the previous structures to the new structure and technology. In the realm of I.R.I Police, the managers should take the challenges facing the organization and important issues like these and their future studies in modern society into special considerations. And this is the main purpose of present paper.The main characteristics of the era that we live in are: 1- accelerating change, 2- Unpredictability of the future. Therefore, ignoring the future studies and not identifying and acquiring the information from the areas ahead, would put the policy making, planning and effective implementation of organization’s activities in doubt. On the contrary, understanding the future and the facing challenges affected by the new environment will result in emergence of new global players, improving the capability of organization for better understanding of the complexities, alignment with the others, not getting surprised by the rapid technological changes and the competitive advantage in the process of globalization.The objectives and questions of this research are as follows: what is globalization and how does it go? With the current trend of globalization, what perspectives will the future modern society (Information Society) have? What are some of the challenges that I.R.I Police may face with until 2025? in the present study, which is in the direction of implicational research, the integrated and pluralistic approaches were employed. The data collection was conducted using library studies, studying documents, and focus group interviews. The data analysis tools were discourse analysis through editing the obtained data from focus groups and so on. the findings are also some of the challenges facing I.R.I Police from the experts’ viewpoints that are identified and classified under the following titles and dimensions: 1- Political and legislative, 2- Cultural and people (humanistic), 3- Strategic and structure, 4- Goods and services (economic). the researcher listed the possible challenges and proposed some strategies for solving the deficiencies and challenges. The researcher also proposed establishing the future study center.
