The Role of Persian Gulf Region's Non-Homogeneous Political Systems in Destabilizing the Security of the Region
Destabilizing the security in a geographical region originates in two indigenous and exogenous factors that affect each other mutually. Besides the fact that the security of the Persian Gulf region is affected by the policies rooted in the trans-regional factors, the performance of the political systems in the region has a great role in stabilizing or destabilizing the security of this region. The coexistence of three political systems in the Persian Gulf region that are fundamentally different from each other has led to the intensification of instability in the region. Explaining the fundamental differences between the political systems of the Persian Gulf region this article aims to also explain the geopolitical roles of each of these political systems in destabilizing the region.
