Anton Saadeh's effect on contemporary poetry

By Anton Saadeh the political literature has merged and from the epic, nationalism and common turned into committed literature which supports public profit. Anton Karam believes: "nationalism and struggle which is still alive has been created by Anton Saade's management" (Karam;1980). Anton Saadeh was one of the privileged in Syrian literary party and many poets such as Adonis, Joseph Al Khal and Khalil Al Havi followed him; either in the field of party or literature. That's why the present article studies Anton Saadeh's literary works.
