Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design and Neutralizing the Civil Hot spots

Cities now days face increasing crime scenes. Urban areas are related to crime in a way that the special features of the environment can develop certain crimes. Among the physical preventive strategies used against crimes is crime prevention through environmental design which is one of the most effective ways of maintaining security in urban areas. The present study aims at conducting the SOAR (strengths، opportunities، Aspirations and result) strategic model in CPTED and neutralizing the hot spots. The findings of the study demonstrated that crime prevention through environmental design has 6 strengths، 9 opportunities، 8 Aspirations، and 6 results. 40 strategies were presented in line with SOAR to neutralize urban ho spots.
