Studying the status of Shahid Chamran University libraries and information services

This study examined the status of service delivery in the collection Shahid Chamran University libraries, including school libraries and the central library. The methodology used in this study was a survey using a questionnaire based on the standards of academic libraries. The results showed that, overall, the services that libraries subsidies are limited, existing standards as well as away. The study revealed a significant gap libraries with relevant standards in this area are examined. It can be concluded that based on the findings, the study population, the services provided by libraries, mainly traditional and modern developments is less than flavor. Especially those services that are user-oriented spirit and their presence in the library can be the manifestation of progress in services, such as interlibrary loan and information services, or in the library of the study does not provide, or that are incomplete and non-efficient. In total, these libraries, the situation is unfortunately a progressive conditions and there are many. The results of this study, like all studies reviewed show in her background of non-compliance with the demands and expectations of users and offers services defined.
