The Relationship between Family Efficiency and Psychological Well-Being among University and Hawzah Students

Abstract:
The present research was conducted with the purpose of investigating the relationship between family efficiency and psychological well-being among university and Hawzah students. The population was university married students having bachelor and master degrees and Hawzahstudents having levels of 2 and 3 from Qom. By convenience sampling، 420 students were selected as the sample. Two questionnaires of family efficiency and psychological well-being were employed. For analyzing the research data، the measures ofcentraltendency and variability، Pearson correlation coefficient، and regression were used with the help of SPSS software (version 22). The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between family efficiency and psychological well-being (r=0. 484). The results also showed that the prediction of respondents'' family efficiency by two sub-scales of psychological well-being (controlling environment and positive relations with others) is significant (P≤0. 0001، F=63. 043). Totally، these two sub-scales predict 24. 9% of the respondents'' family efficiency.
