Major depression disorder with focus on Quran teachings

Quran is a permanent light for human beings and manifestation of God’s word. All its instructions and rules are based on reasoning and logic. Quran teachings have been descended for all people, spaces, times and situations and they are suitable for all things. Regarding the importance and necessity of conducting such research, it is noteworthy that in modern age, development of technology and information have facilitated life condition in one hand and rapid social changes, life style change and life difficulties threaten health and tranquility on the other hand. This is why people suffer from anxiety, depression, unreasonable bother and inefficiency while facing life difficulties. The main objective of this research is to study preventive strategies from major depression disorder with focus on Quran teachings. The research methodology is descriptive-analytic. The result is that if people reinforce their beliefs and consider Quran teachings during their lives, they will protect themselves more reliably from mental impairments specially the studied impairment. Also, feasible strategies have been outlined in cognitive, affective and behavioral areas in present research.
