With regard to the importance of religiosity on the one hand and predominance of the media in today's worlds on the other, the main subject of this paper is to study the relationship between TV and satellite consumption and amount of religiosityof the youth between 18 to 29 years of age in Tehran. In line with this, cultural approach to the media, cultivation theory, and ideas of thinkers such as "Hoover", "Carlson", "Derrida" and several experimental investigations have been surveyed. Finally, with regard to experimental and theoretical studies, some hypotheses have been made and tested in the sampling population. Also, there is a significant negative correlation between the number of national and satellite TV programs and the amount of religiosity, while with the increase of national TVsentertainment, news, and educational programs, the degree of the youth's religiosity improves.
