Abstract:
Authentic, historical researches and studies have proven the ethnic and linguistic ties between the two ancient civilizations of Persia and India.Throughout the history, various political and religious factors strengthened those links and affected the interactions between the two cultures.
Ibn Batoteh (703-779 A.H.) a well- known Arab tourist, in some part of his famous itinerary, has written a detailed description of his journey to India. His itinerary's vigilance, perspicacity and diverse information indicate the influence of Persian language and culture on Indias. The information in the history of literature in imperial courts of Indian Muslims and their worthy support are indeed magnificent. They turned into reliable documents which explain the history of Persian literature. The linguistic interactions and expansion of the Persian language around the 740 A.H. and even before that are remarkable and noteworthy.
