The role of Literature in Representation of Islamic Movements (Case study: Representation of Islamic Revolution in Wandering Island and Wandering Cameleer)

This papers describes the role of literature in representation of Islamic movements. Two novels of Wandering Island and Wandering Cameleer written by Simin Daneshvar and Representation of Islamic Revolution in them were reviewed. The main question is that how Islamic revolution values are represented. This survey had been conducted by content qualitative analysis and categorization of Islamic revolution values. Findings show that political and cultural dimensions of Islamic revolution had the highest values of representation (35.7) and economic dimension was at the third place(21.4). Therefore it could be stated that in two novels of Wandering Island and Cameleer the emphasis was on political and cultural dimensions. Disregard to religious structure of society (21.4) was focused more than the others.
