The Effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Knowledge Sharing among Women Staffs of Mazandaran Province Education and Training Administration

The purpose of the present research is to assess the causal effects of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on knowledge sharing among women staffs of Mazandaran province education and training administration.
The methodology of this research is descriptive-survey, and is based on structural equation modeling, along with the questionnaires that used to gather the required information. Reliability of the questionnaire was tested using Cronbach’s alpha and its validity was confirmed by specialists in the fields of human resources management, institutional behavior and knowledge management. In addition, based on results, the path of the relationships between the variables was supported, and the research results had been analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
The results indicate that the OCB is a significant predictor of knowledge sharing in staffs (Tvalue=2.81; β=0.46). On the other hand, all dimensions of OCB have a causal effect on the knowledge sharing (Tvalue≥1.96).
On the basis of the present results, it should be imply that one of the reason of the success of large organizations in the field of knowledge is this fact that they possess the staffs with excellent behaviors; it means that they show OCB.
