Criminological Investigation of the Effect of Individual and Family Factors on the Rate and Nature of Delinquency

Abstract:
Statistics proves the ever-increasing rate of crimes. The present study tries to investigate the effect of individual and Family factors such as punishment, family disconnection, Stressful environment, and gender on the rate and nature of delinquency. This was a descriptive-analytic study. In order to study descriptively, 1049 delinquents were analyzed based on the criminal Statistics and case studies. For Comparative Studies, 98 delinquents and 91 no delinquents were randomly selected to from the Statistical sample of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. T-test was used to analyze the collected data. The findings of the Study demonstrated that there was a significant relationship between the delinquent and no delinquent Subjects regarding the family structure, relations with the Peers, Parents control, and style of attachment.
