Surveying the motivation of state universitie's personnel of Isfahan based on Mcclelland three needs theory

Abstract:
Purpose
The research aimed to investigate the motivation of personnel of the state universitie's libraries of Isfahan based on Mcclelland three needs theory.
Methods
The research method was descriptive survey study and aresearcher – made questionnairewasutilized. The population consisted of 164 personnel of the state universitie's libraries of Isfahan (managers, officials, librarians) including the University of Isfahan, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, and Isfahan University of Technology. The validity of the questionnaire was measured in content and the reliability by using Cronbach's Alpha estimated at 0. 91. Random stratified sampling method was used. For analyzing the data SPSS18 and at descriptive statistics level (mean and standard deviation) and at inferential statistics (Single – sample – test) were used.

The motivation of personnel including motivation to succeed, motivation to power, and motivation to belonging, in the state universitie's libraries of Isfahan is in a good condition in personnel's view.
