Introduction to Intellectual Property Ethics in the Digital Library

The creator of the work has two rights: 1) the material rights 2) moral rights. The material rights are to reward the efforts of its author's own and not someone else take advantage of it. Aside from the material rights of the author's rights is other rights which they are called to be moral rights, and sometimes, they say ethical rights. This type of intellectual property right which is known as the holiest of all types of property is not limited to time and is non-transferable. With the advancement of science and technology, particularly the Internet, changes occurred in the publishing industry information. These changes cause confusion in the relevant legislation in this area. According to the requirements of Library professional ethics, Respect for copyright and intellectual property and trying to follow it in all circumstances, Respect the confidentiality of information relating to their client's rights, protection of collections and providing all users with access to the information they need. This article to resolve legislation lack in the area of intellectual property in the digital space Had ethical approach to the issue of intellectual property and has identified in cyberspace, digital libraries moral obligations in the field of intellectual property in general three topics: Moral obligations to the author, Moral obligations to the users, Moral obligations to the digital library collection.
