The Relationship Between Strategy-Structure Fit And Performance In Family Firms (Case Study: family firms based in the industrial town of Yazd province)

Abstract:
In the era of ultra-competitive, organizations are faced with an environment that is characterized by increasing complexity and dynamics of globalization, Therefore, organizations should pay more attention to their establishment to continue to develop and strengthen its organizational structure through performance management is focused on. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between strategy-structure Fit and performance in family firms strategy and organizational structure of the company is family. The data collected in this study, a questionnaire to assess the relationship between independent variables (power, experience and culture) and the dependent variables of the study (performance, strategy and organizational structure) is used .To investigate the relationship between the variables and the chi-square test of the table and compromise in order to test the hypotheses to evaluate the relationship between variables in the multivariate regression using SPSS soft ware has been developed .population-based study included all family firms are in the industrial city of Yazd. A sample of 180 companies was obtained by the formula crackers that 76 questionnaires were distributed and 63 questionnaires were analyzed finally.The results of the study indicate that a significant relationship between organizational culture and organizational structure, but the reverse. Furthermore, the influence of family experience as a direct and significant impact on corporate strategy and the role of the family, no Tdylgr. So how organizational culture can be said to grow weaker every experience, organizational structure and strategy to improve the performance of the organization increases .
