Undoubtedly, in the contemporary world ,one of the most important indicators of human development is the presence of women and the role of women in various fields. On the other hand ,in the era of globalization,interests and rights of individuals (even within their own territory) linked to international issues .It naturally has brought the issue of women's rights in international relations.The emergence of women's rights in the turbulent arena of international politics has caused the formation of relations with ups and downs between countries and international human rights organizations. The United Nations as the most important international organizations with general competencies has focused the issue of protection of women's rights since its founding. In this regard it has acted adoption of multiple documents, creating institutions and various international conferences. This study by using descriptive - analysis method examines the performance of the United Nations in the field of women's rights.
