Effectiveness of Spiritual/ Religious Intervention on Life Quality of Female Student Teachers

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of spiritual/ religious intervention on life quality of female student teachers. In this quasi-experimental study, 30 participants were selected from student teachers of the Farhangian University through in available sampling and were divided equally in two groups as an experimental and control. Data were collected through pretest, posttest and WHOQOL- BREF (World Health Organization Quality of Life).To this end; both groups were given a pre-test, Then experimental group received 8 sessions of spiritual / religious skills training, and finally both groups were tested. Obtained data were analyzed via SPSS software. Findings revealed that there is a significant relationship (p>0/05) between the life quality of experimental and control groups. Spiritual/ religious intervention was effective on life quality of female student teachers, and there is not any significant relationship between two groups in social relationships and life environment. Moreover; through significant relationship between physical and mental health of two groups in life quality subscales, it can be concluded that spiritual/ religious intervention affect on physical and mental health of female student teachers.
