The Roots of Radicalism in G.W. Bush's Foreign Policy

The 9/11 event accyrred when all necessary conditions whether at the domestic or international level were provided to trigger expansionist and unilateral policies of American neo-conservatives. The collapse of Soviet Union, the process of globalization, the high rapid economic growth of the U.S.A in 1990s and the 9/11 event which brought about a real enemy for the U.S.A., facilitated the implementation of policies of radical neo-conservatives under the leadership of Bush. This article attempts to study these factors as the origin of the Bush administration’s unilateral policies in the global level. Also, the agenda and policies of American neo-conservatives are investigated in this research.
