Some Statements about "Do EydeSanaei" in Hadighe al-Haghighe

Abstract:
One of the interpretable verses in SanaeisHadighe al-Haghighe is "Sufiandardami, do eydkonand/Ankabutan, magasghadidkonand". The presence of mystical symbols and metaphors like "do eydesufian", "ankabutan" and "magasghadidkardan" has attracted the attention of scholars and, from the time of Sanaei to Qajar period, several interpretations of it have been proposed from the view point of mysticism and theology. The oldest interpretation of this verse belongs to Eyn al-QozatHamedani whereas the newest one is by KotharHamedani (the Qajar mystic). In the existent interpretations, the point of difference is mostly about the interpretation of "do eyd" which has been construed as annihilation and survival by most interpreters.
Since world-chiding is one of the pivotal notions in his poems, especially in Hadighe al-Haghighe and his odes, and he likens world-seekers to animals such as dog, cat, raven, ant, fly, condor, spider and the like, the interpreters of this verse have provided a true interpretation of the symbols "ankabut" and "magasghadidkardan" which denote world-seekers and preoccupation with carnal desires and world attachments.
In this paper, while introducing the researched statements about this verse, four other statements are also explored.
