A Typological study of Gilaki (Northern language of Iran) based on Dryer's word order correlation

Typology is a branch of linguistics studies which, regardless of their background, focuses on the structural similarities between different languages; in order to establish a basis for categorizing and classifying the following languages and essentially has a fundamental difference with languages historical comparison. Typological studies focus on language universals and establishing the languages class regarding these universals. Systematic study of language variation is the main objective of these studies. Meanwhile Dryer's group of the twenty-four word order correlation is one of the basic universals in word order survey. Typological study of Iran's local languages aside of better understanding, has an important role in cognitive perspective of their rich history. In the following research with emphasizing on the fact that classes will not be decisive in determine, it is tried to classify the mentioned language in the comparison of Persian.
