Quality Evaluation of website of ministry of sports and youth using analytical hierarchy process (AHP)

Abstract:
Websites have been one of the main communication tool between organizations and their users and clients. The main aim of the websites is to present the information to public. Websites have a vital role in developing the electronic government. In spite of spending high cost for designing and developing the websites, a little attention has been done on performance evaluation of websites. Given the crucial role of the ministry of sports and youth, the main purpose of this research is to assess the quality of the website of the ministry of sports and youth. The statistical population of this study is 31 people of expert lecturers in sport management area. Due to the low number of the statistical population, the holistic sampling method is used. The assessment tool is the standard questionnaire based on Haghigh Nasab (1387) in this study. To analyze the data, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and Expert Choice12 software is used. The results show that the usage rate and the attractive rate is 0.62 and 0.38, respectively. Moreover, the solidarity rate of the website gets the highest weight (14.3) while the interaction rate gets the lowest weight (2.5)
