Mir Sayyid Ali Hamedani in Pakistan (A view to the researches of Dr. Muhammad Riyaz)

Mir Sayyid Ali Hamedani is one of the famous prominent gnostic men of Islam history that his role in Islamic world is specifically observed in most countries, like Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir. Kashmir enters the list of countries that have been influenced by the personality of Mir Sayyid Aii Hamedani which is accompanied by transmission of Iranian culture to this area. Therefore, most of the Pakistani researchers paid much attention to the personality of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamedani and wrote works about him. Three books entitled Khulasat ul-manaqib, “Risala-ye masturat” (Manqabat ul-javahir) and Rawzat ul- jinan and “Jannat ul-jinan” published in the outside of the subcontinent basin based on Mir Sayyid Ali Hamedani’s works are introduced in this article and further a list of the works written about Mir Sayyid Ali Hamedani in the subcontinent is presented. Then, independent research works that carried out by Pakistani researchers, especially by Muhammad Riyaz in the second half of the 2oth century are introduced. The list of some theses of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamedani, in particular “Awrad-e fathiya”, “Talqiniya”, “Chihil asrar”, “Darveshiya”, “Zakhirat ul-Muluk” and so on published in Pakistan are provided for in below.
