Interpretive methodology of Heidegger

One of the trends and methodological schools opposing with positivism, and the social scientists use its approach and methodology to face positivism, is hermeneutics. The rules and methods of correct understanding has been the subject of a long and aged debate. In a way, interpretation has been with men since the beginning, but conscious reflection on interpretation and its questioning has its own history. In the past until Heidegger, the minds were more focused on the rules of interpretation and the methods of correct understanding of what is around us. But Heidegger opened a new road for the question of understanding and hermeneutics that has revolutionized the discipline. This essay deals this innovation and its consequences.
