Turkey's energy security policy and its role in energy transport in Europe

Abstract:
Since turkey is located between oil rich countries and Europe union, as a most consuming energy market in the world, could easily secure its own inner needs and play Europe natural energy bridge role. Europe has been ever seeking ways to replace a transferring country instead of Russia and has resulted in turkey as the most appropriate one. In the field of energy- gas and oil- Turkey is a poor country but it's politicians are attempting to propound the country as an important player of region's energy arena and Europe energy security fund. Findings in this article will show that Turkey, based on it's neighboring countries enormous oil sources, Europe union requirements and the union desire to find replacing choices of Russia energy pipeline, has done some efforts to fulfillment of its own energy policy in intercontinental level.
