Research in regarding to the position of Imam Ali in Ascension of the Prophet Mohammad in Southern Kurdish Poetry

The story of the ascension of Mohammad Prophet is the commonest theme and religious theme in the Southern Kurdish poems. Southern Kurdish poets have viewed the ascension story from different angles to create their poems. Imam Ali’s presence is a common feature of these ascension letters. Since addressing these poems clarifies the popular narrative of the Southern Kurds of the ascension as well; therefore, the authors in this article attempt to give a big picture of the ascension and explain the ascension letters and their manuscripts and study the their reflections in the Southern Kurdish literature.
