Presenting a Novel Model for Intelligent Electrical Consumption Management of Hospital Equipment by Using Goal Programming

Nowadays, energy management is highly regarded throughout the world. High energy consumption leads to high costs for consumers in the long term and at the national level. In this study by modified consumption patterns and presenting a proposed plan, it has been tried to optimize electrical energy consumption in hospitals.The proposed model is a goal programming model. Objective functions consist of minimization of peak energy consumption and minimization of electricity costs. Some constraints such as daily energy requirements and user preferences have been modeled using mixed integer programming. Regarding objective functions, three different scenarios have been considered.The developed model can be easily performed in a hospital unit. The combined scenario that has been considered both objectives simultaneously is the best.The proposed model is a practical one for intelligent management of electrical consumption. Thus, performing the model in hospitals is recommended.
