An Evaluation of Effective Factors on Learning Transfer of Nursing On-The-Job Training Courses into Work-Environment Based on Holton's Transfer Model

Background of Nursing is one of the health jobs. In addition to health care, need continuing education to individual development and aware of the latest medical science achievements. The main purpose of this study was an evaluation of effective factors on learning transfer of nursing on the job training courses into work environment based on Holton’s transfer model.
This was a descriptive- sectional study that the population was all of Jahrom University of medical sciences nurses. Passed on-the-job training courses in 2015 was inclusion criteria. Using random sampling method and Cocran formula 95 nurses were selected. Research instrument was learning transfer system inventory that distributed after validity and reliability calculation. Data analyzed by inferential statistical methods and SPSS21.
The results showed that effective individual, organizational and educational factors on learning transfer of on-the-job training courses into work-environment from view point of Jahrom medical sciences university nurses were more than average level. Also showed that individual were dominant effective factor (P With special attention to the nurse's on the job training courses effectiveness and motivation, provide learning transfer context into work environment.
