Operator's performance evaluation on the Hospital information system about the deductions of educational and medical Hajar Hospital in 2012

Use of information technology in healthcare has been inevitable to achieve purposes of accreditation standards. This descriptive study is to evaluate the correlation of performance of hospital information system software operators with the amount of deducted costs in 2012 in Hajar Hospital, Shahrekord.
The data were collected through a performance measurement questionnaire. Validity of the questionnaire were examined by several professors, experts and colleagues in the field and based on the opinion of the expert in statistics, Cronbach's Alpha was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaire.After the questionnaires were filled out, the data were analyzed by SPSS 16 through Spearman correlation coefficient, Pearson, and Regression tests.
The results showed that there was significant and inverse relationship between performance scores of operators and hospital deductions (p=0.001). The spearman correlation coefficient between the two was found to be -0.581.
promoting operator performance level and training health staff should be more considered along with proper manner of services record to reduce deductions and to promote the clinical governance objectives.
