Reappraisal of the Role of Religious Precept in Discovering its Ranks

The present paper is to analyze and compare the proposed viewpoints about the precept hierarchy or the stated precepts about the essence of religious precept by the Principle of Jurisprudence scholars. Having discussed the available arguments on the two mentioned issues, the author of this article has addressed the point that if uṣūlīs› viewpoints on the essence of religious precept comply with their precepts on the hierarchy of religious precept. The findings of the study revealed that some perspectives on the reality of religious precept do not comply with the identified hierarchy for the religious precept as mentioned by its believers.
