Experiences of social support and family in drug addicts as facilitators of Leave addiction: A qualitative study

Dependence and drug abuse one of the Most important problems of the present age has found that global expansion,that it's Symptoms include mental, psychological, familial, cultural, economic and social disorders that sweeps all social and cultural boundaries. Because addiction is a multidimensional phenomenon, its treatment must be multidimensional. The purpose of this study was to survey the Experiences of social support and family in drug addicts as facilitators of Leave addiction. To achieve this objective a qualitative study using in-depth interviews were conducted on 17 addict. The results of the interviews were analyzed by using a phenomenological approach and Colaizzi method. Analysis results indicated that Three major themes: expectations of society, the expectations of family and social causes of relapse in addiction and nine sub-themes include the need for employment, attitudes towards addicts, emotional support, lack of trust in the community, community awareness, emotional support from family, negative attitudes of family toward addiction, family problems and bad friends. results indicate that addicts need in social support, financially and emotionally and emotional support in family, Society's attitude toward addiction and addicts should be changed.
