The relationship between information seeking behavior with elements of creativity among students of Islamic Azad University Golpayegan

This study was done in order to information seeking behavior and creativity among students Islamic Azad University of Golpayegan. Methodology of this study is descriptive survey and it is correlation due to relationship among variables. The statistical society is 1564 from graduated students in Islamic Azad University of Golpayegan. 308 students were selected by using Cochran Formula as sample. To collect data, self-made questionnaire was used. Extracted data were analyzed by using SPSS software. Findings indicated that there is positive and meaningful relationship among information seeking behavior of students and cognition creativity, information seeking behavior and non-cognitive creativity, information seeking behavior of students and motivational dimension of creativity. Average parameters of the Friedman test shows that the cognitive dimension of creativity with an average of 2/34,Motivational dimension with 1/95And cognition, with an average of 1/71 have the highest impact on information seeking behavior of students.
