The Myth of the Early Kings in the Persian Historical Texts

Demystification is a process in which we try to historicize and realize mythical phenomena and characters. This concept was first used for the interpretation of religious texts, especially the message of Jesus Christ. Demystification is sometimes defined as revealing the hidden content of the symbols. It is also meant as removing mythical stories and anecdotes from religious and non-religious texts. It is also conceptualized as historicizing mythical elements, phenomena and characters. In this study which is a descriptive-analytical one, demystification is defined as historicizing phenomena and characters. This is to show if the Early Kings have been demystified or not. The results show that the Early Mythical Kings have been placed in a particular time and place throughout the history books. This is a good evidence that these mythical characters have been demystified to some extent and placed within particular times and places.
