Framework for talent management in the tourism industry

In today’s world, people are the key competitive edge fueling the achievement of business goals. Successful organizations view talent management as an ongoing strategic priority. Since employees are vital aspects of the delivery of tourism services, so the ability to find and keep good people is critical to service sector success.This study in order to provide a framework for talent management using qualitative research approach. To this end, after litrature review by using a semi-structured interviews with managers and experts Tourism and recreation centers Holding Company Persians via purposive sampling, were analyzed dimensions and indicators affecting on talent management process by means of Directed and Summative content analysis. Finally, a coherent framework is provided based on underlying factors affecting talent management (internal and external factors), attraction (strategic analysis of need for talent, Staffing Requirements), retention (Talent Relationship Management, Performance Management), development (Management career path, Succession Management) and talent pool (Prospects and strategies).
