Strategic Business/IT Alignmentof Semnan Province

The aim of this study is to empirically investigate the impact of Business-Information Technology Alignment on small and medium enterprise and to revision the BIA prior by using data from production cooperatives. In this research, the population is all of the cooperatives section. By using Delphi method and commends of the experts’ fourteen parameters were recognized. Then, a sample size of 140 active firms was determined. In order to assessing business/IT alignment usedenhanced strategic alignment maturity Luftman model as basic model. The main findings showed that the six IT-business alignment criteria has a significant effect on production cooperatives. Also, we found that the production cooperatives are the second level of maturity, the level of commitment. This level indicate that the strategic role of IT in cooperatives has not been established. But has begun identifying potential opportunities for alignment;Finally, provided long-term and short-term strategies to improve the alignment of production cooperatives.
