The Logic of Imam al-Husayn's Argumentation in Defending the Imamate-Based Teachings

Answering queries and argumentation are two ways of defending the doctrinal principles and uncovering the truth, hence they are widely used in the disseminstion of Islamic religious values in the time of the presence of the Infallible Imams. As in the time of Muawiyah a greater part of the reasonings in favor of the principles of imamate were severely attacked, Imam al-Husayn answered those rebuttals in the best possible ways. The present paper focuses on extracting certain principles based on which Imam al-Husayn defended the principle of Imamate.
