Anthropological Foundations of Hayekian Liberalism; from Individual and Social Points of View

Abstract:
Each political philosophy explains the world of politics by its own method and in this respect, analyses political issues based on ontological, anthropological and epistemological principles. Philosophic anthropology can be considered as a source for human studies which brings about scientific propositions; so do liberalism. Hayek as a liberal theoretician in the twentieth century prescribes his political philosophy based on a philosophical structure of human. This paper probes human in two glances; human as an individual and as a member of the society. Hayek believes an objective, constant and comprehensive position is missing in human life. Dispersion and scantiness are two major problems of the the knowledge. Moreover, Hayek does not see society and its main institutions as a production human consciousness and contract between themselves. Yet societies are those spontaneous orders which have been created through thousands of years of human practical life and gradual spectrum of trial and the survival of the fittest.
