Examining and Criticizing the Theory of Incompatibility of Welayat-e Faqih and Democracy

Remarkable influence of welayat-e Faqih and its novelty as well as innovative ideas by scholars on one hand and intellectual as well as cultural attacks by aliens to question, doubt and shaken its foundations on the other hand, have created some questions in this field that requires more clarification and stronger innovation. Among these questions is the theory of "incompatibility of welayat-e faqih and democracy". This article demonstrates that welayat-e faqih is not incompatible with democracy and it is even one of the best democracies of its kind and defends rational and legal freedoms.
