Preliminary design and cfd analysis of a high speed industerial cavitation tunnel

Design and manufacturing of laberotary's equipments is a nessesity for understanding and developing of the science of mechanical engineering, aerodynamics and hydrodynamics that are used for improving the vehicles performance such as cars, weapons, ships and submarines. One of these equipments is the cavitation tunnel that is applied for study of physical phenomenas such as cavitation and also for measuring of hydrodynamic loads for submerged and surface moving bodies. In this paper, a review is presented for the existing cavitation tunnels and then a new cavitation tunnel is designed based on the technical requirements for any parts of them.
