Divine Words, Human Language and Comprehension in Sadra's Philosophy (With an Emphasis on Allameh Tabatabaei's Perspectives)

Abstract:
The relationship between God and human beings has been among the philosophical and intellectual complications, since the former is the creator and unlimited and the latter the creature and limited. Based on the principles of Sadra’s philosophy we can pose a theory called ‘Spiritual Commonality and Existence Doubt’. This grounded argument suggests that God has the Jamal and Kamal features or traits and that God perfectly has excellence in existence; negative attributes of God, on the other hand, are only to verify God’s completeness. God’s attributes are the same as his essence. Clearly, ‘doubting the unity of existing essence’ has the commonality of God’s attributes and human attributes and these are not the same. In Sadra’s and his followers’ thoughts, Allameh Tabatabaei in particular, on the bases of ‘virtual commonality existing concept’, ‘doubt in reality of existing essence’, ‘separation of stance of meaning from stance of example’ and based on the layers of meaning and usage in vocabulary, the emphasis is on the real meaning of attributes such as science, power, life, etc. in both God and human. Arguably, here the monopolization of meaning on a physical level is regarded as irrelevant.
